Millenium

Does anyone out there want to protest that the TV series Millennium was shut down? Created by X-File's Chris Carter. The TV show revolved around Frank Black. A profiler who got too involved in a case and had to quit the force (FBI). Then was recruited by the Millennium Group to fight evil because they recognized that he was psychic not just your average police profiler. It was the classic Christian good vs. evil theme and was great on Friday nights. And although Lance Henrick (lead character actor) is getting up there in years, his voice is like wine, and his facial expressions are classic hunk stuff. Come back Lance - we don't care if it a smaltzy sit-com, just let us hear you say something. (*After I wrote this he did come back in Scream 3) True, the story line became a tad overdone toward the end, but that could have been saved in one episode.

Chris Carter, you should have hired a legitimate psychic with experience in profiling to help the writing staff. Too bad it was yanked, it was entertaining if nothing else. Toward the end of the series very little actual psychic education value was evident. Is this just a sad reminder that writers ought to do their research a little better - or at least glean it from the real source - a real psychic and spiritualist? I don't know Mr. Carter, but next time around try it - you might like it. Throw in some aliens once in a while and perhaps The Space network will pick it up. Chris - we'd watch it!
