October is here, the season where the barrier between the human dimension and the spiritual dimensions begin to blurrrr…..step over the line and check these movies out for All Hallow's Eve!

The Other's starring Melanie Griffith - well researched, you can believe at least 2/3rds of the storyline.

The Gift starring too many to list: another well researched flick, the Writer didn't get too carried away and kept the very scary "normal" human element incorporated with the PSY element!

John Q starring Denzel Washington - oh, you think this isn't scary? I did - with today's technology it's horrifying to think that a hospital could or would deny human life because of a few bucks and a corrupt insurance industry that preys on the American People!

The Thirteenth Ghost starring Toni Shaloub: has little to no realistic PSY research but is darn scary! Notice the awesome set design!

The Sixth Sense starring Bruce Willis - well, what can I say, a great flick, well researched, well played! You'll understand my kind of people a lot better after this movie!

The Mothman Prophesies starring Richard Gere - based on a true story. I get to hear these stories from a unique position in my office, I will say that I've heard similar stories to this one on many occasions. Scary, well researched, and well written.

Dragonfly starring Kevin Cosner - this is a good movie, realistic from my perspective and sensitively played. Being experience with terminally ill people (myself included) I found the near death experiences portrayed could have been better, but nothing is perfect in hollywood, eh. This movie is worth your time.

Any of the Hellraiser movies will add that very very scary tone to your Halloween eve and for all you Blood Suckers out there try these:

Blade I and/or Blade II starring Westley Snipes - some great FX action scenes in this gory Vampire story.

Breed starring Adrian Paul - a cross between Dark City, Highlander with a new concept in Vampire based storyline.

Vampires starring James Wood hunts Vamps and takes them down good stuff, great cast! The dark humor tones the rest!

Dusk Till Dawn: very gory, very scary with quirky humor and sit on the edge of your seat scenes.

Vamp with Grace Jones as an exotic dancer and Madame who doubles as the Vampire Queen; a little blood and a little laughter.
