Dogma

This is an unusual movie that I found I would suggest to many but not all. I found this movie to be a fairly good at addressing that spiritual entities are themselves embroiled in their own educational pursuits and life plans with responsibilities that are not well understood by mortal peoples - but could be if mortals would take the time to become familiar with issues we have previously left to the thoughts of delegated members of clergy and related philosophers only. The storyline is of the madcap adventure of two angels trying to be noticed by their God who has seemingly forgotten them. A spiritual entity does not require a sex gender, food or fancy clothing but seldom in a movie are these particular issues of a spiritual entity's condition addressed. Well, they did in this movie and I found it hilarious.

The overall storyline spoofed the topics of Life Plans, Life Plan Contracts and Guide Manifestations in an easy manner (obviously not to be taken too seriously). There were a lot of errors regarding spiritual life, all forgivable errors as what was presented in this comedy was in it's own way threaded with fragments of truths. Although I have extensive knowledge of spiritual entities and their issues, which results in my having an enormous respect for all entities, I do not believe in Angels as they are reported to be. Therefore, I was not personally offended by many of the insinuations being made in this movie. However, if you are sensitive to the Christian Faith, and would be insulted by the dogma being made fun of, then this movie may not be for you.
