What Does a PI Agency Do for You? CPI Staff & Services

CPI's John Fedoriuk is prepared to give information about the PI industry that other agencies

won't -- that's what "The JunkShun" is all about.

The extensive list of services that CPI offers is not provided by all investigation agencies. In fact some agencies are suspiciously vague about their operations abilities because they cannot provide a mediocre list much less an extensive list of services. An Investigation agency's list of services is the ultimate indication of what they are able to do for the client. Unfortunately most people wouldn't even know the difference at all. Thankfully JETIU Company found John Fedoriuk of CPI is willing to clue us in to the realities of a business that is rarely talked about openly.

There are a lot of reasons for agencies to be lacking in their service list; some of those reasons that you need to know when shopping for an investigative agency are:

-They may not have the access to the technology that is required in the investigation industry, which is very difficult to find much less acquire if one doesn't have the funds to purchase something they might use once in a year. In order to have access to this type of technology an investigation agency must have some excellent, legal and reliable contacts. The equipment isn't always financially feasible for an agency to "own"; rather they often must subcontract certain Technologies from Companies that do own the equipment and who "lend" it out to an agency for a job. These technology lending co.'s will also operate difficult technology for an agency - however, the agency should have staff who know how to use the tec themselves. Keeping in mind that this isn't like renting a forklift and in fact some of the more sophisticated tec is purchased by operations and lending co.'s because few people know how to use it, there is a huge market for this in the intelligence and investigative industries. The tec lending co.'s don't tend to advertise that they exist - they are found and/or make themselves known through the underground network and work with qualified investigators who have reputations of excellence only because that's how they are ensured they will actually get paid. These are the types of contacts and technicians on staff that an investigation agency wants and needs to have to keep operational and successful.

-An agency may not have the amount of staff required to actually perform a thorough investigation at all much less in a timely manner for the client, so they fake it a bit--or a lot, usually with the client none the wiser. John Fedoriuk makes it clear that that this is a delicate issue in the entire intelligence investigative industry: that is, there is always room for more staff, but few teachers are available, so where does the qualified staff come from? How can you hire and fire them if you can't find them in the first place. A reputable agency will have staff who wants to work for them, however, recruiting the right kind of people in this delicate business is left up to the experience of the Agency CEO. On the other hand, an agency may not be interested in acquiring staff and/or further training staff at all, they prefer not to have legitimate staff members know that they are actually what is referred to as "creeps". A Creep agency is one who keeps their staff to a minimum on purpose but tells the client they have plenty to get the contract for the job, then hope the client won't realize that they took the fee but worked at nothing all day! These type of agencies then give the client a report saying, "Gee, it seems your fears were unfounded Client, we couldn't catch the suspect doin' nothin' wrong!"; when in fact the suspect (called a target) in question was indeed getting into plenty of trouble at the client's expense. Usually the client finds out they were ripped off far too late to correct or prevent any damage the target set out to do, but which the investigation agency (a reputable one) indeed could have managed for the client. John Fedoriuk also makes clear that creep agencies are a difficult issue simply because there are times a legitimate agency may discover that the client's suspicions of a target were indeed unfounded; that the target is clean. But remember that in this case the legitimate agency can and does present proof and documentation of the unfounded suspicions to the client.
