What is the Psychic Term "Energy" referring to?

Simply put: your brain creates an electrical current your body 'runs' on which keeps it operational. That electrical current is transmitted throughout your body via the Central Nervous System and routed out to your secondary nerve system (the nerves close to your skin surface) and your third nervous system (the little nerves in the deep muscles close to the bones). There are junctions in your body where the nervous systems gather called ganglia. These junctions are much like a breaker box in your home's electrical wiring system. After the electrical current travels through your body and has done it's job (making your eyelid flicker or your fingertip move), it travels back to the junction. If it has no other job to do it is released away from the body through the various junctions that it has congregated in. As an example you have one secondary nerve system ganglia (junction) located on each side of your lower spine. You also have a larger one right about where your ribs curve away from the sternum called your solar plexus. The excess electrical current that has generated and is being "shed" is loosely referred to as "energy". In an Aura Reading a psychic may tell you that your energy is brown, green or perhaps orange flecked with blue. But actually, energy is not categorized by colors - that is a commonly believed untruth.

Secondly, there are three very specific energies that you are comprised of that many psychics don't know about and so are left unable to properly diagnose for their clients. Unfortunately there are many inadequately educated psychics are out there practicing and/or talking about something they don't understand and charging money for it!

There is a lot of confusion out there surrounding this issue so lets set it straight once and for all. Anyone with a brain or nervous system can feel energy. Humans, bugs, birds, fish. Studies show that plants respond to different vibes as well, which just goes to show that our standard concept of a brain and nervous system need more consideration. Just because someone can feel energy doesn't make him or her psychic. When a person reacts to these energies that reaction it is often referred to as an "instinct". As an example, people instinctively put their hands out before them when being attacked, often before the attacker has even made the first move. This is because the victim can feel the energy from the attacker and recognizes it as detrimental to them, then as a response backs away from the source of the detrimental energy or puts their hands up to ward off the impending blow. The initial reaction is not to protect oneself, that is the instinctive action derived from acknowledging the dangerous energy exists in the first place.

Society has a lot of terms set aside for the natural ability to sense and work with energy, but most of these widely accepted terms are inaccurate and work to explain that which science and some larger religions have previously denied. There is a big difference between feeling energy as an intuitive is able to do and that of deciphering it's variables without anything more than one's own body or being able to manipulate energy to do what one wants it to - at will. Actually, not all psychics can even do that. It depends on what abilities the psychic is gifted with. Therapeutic Touch is a great example. We know energy exists and that the human body and all other things manufacture or emit it. And everyone can play with it to a degree. That's the good news. However, only actual psychics gifted with the particular abilities (such as telekinesis or pyrokinesis) associated with energy works can actually change, combine or manipulate energy to do or become something else. Being able to feel energy is the first step, properly diagnosing it is step two and there are many steps beyond. Because of step one and two a moderately psychic field educated person can sooth damaged energy or liven up slow energy, but only to a degree. Therefore, the public should not take seriously claims of "miraculous psychic energy healing" and other assorted energy works purported by people who are probably charlatans or misguided but sincere poseurs. Either way people shouldn't have to pay for something that is either misrepresented or isn't possible at all.
