NHL:
Edmonton Oilers, well, it's time to kiss it boyo's. Grab the Stanley Cup and pour a glass of champagne for me! Finally, I get to announce that I see a win, all this new blood and mixing of blood has proved that the Edmonton team is a "well-oiled" machine! (this prediction made Dec. 6, 2000 evening hours) See KD's predictions for 2001, local Sports section for more information on the team and management negotiations.

Soccer:
Fans are disappointed at the retirement of a key - star - player in Brazil or is he a honey-toned latin-type looking man working by recruitment in a different country/city? (OK, honey-toned may not be appropriate, but I'm a girl). Sorry, I don't follow soccer or any sports and I don't know who this is. Seems an injury is the culprit of this disappointment which causes a riot during the injury incident and then a near riot again when the news of his forced retirement is out. Man, soccer fans are wild! (this prediction made Dec. 6, 2000, late evening hours)

Basketball Star Scandal:
I "saw" headlines in a newspaper or paper magazine regarding a basketball player being accused of or discovered as a pedophile by another player who somehow found the accused in possession of what was determined to be "kiddy porn". I could not say from what country or city this player is from. I do not follow basketball and while I saw glossy red and bright white colors to the uniform and an image of a red star, I could be viewing details of (i.e.: seeing without understanding) an article of this person's street clothing colors worn at the time of the vision and interpreting the star to be this person's status as a player rather than a representative symbol on the uniform. This is not a cop out, I just really don't understand what I'm looking at, the color association could be with bed sheets or towels for all I understood of this quick flash of insight. I have also decided that giving details of this case could prove harmful to victims and would cause speculation damaging to legal case issues, therefore are deemed inappropriate in this public platform. (prediction made Dec. 4 and 6, 2000)
